Keeper’s handbook
West boats travel east; east boats travel west. Open the matching gate, admit one boat, close that gate, then fill or drain to the destination level. Open the destination gate and release. A gate only opens within 0.05m of its approach. Sluices automatically stop at the endpoint. Each metre filled spends one unit of reservoir water; draining is free. Alternate directions to save empty chamber cycles.
The clock runs only during an active shift. A failed gate attempt costs 5 seconds. Win by delivering the whole manifest before time or water runs out. Actual local PlayCanvas renderer and original GPT narrowboat artwork.
